back in the red: TOMB RAIDER II
review posted by Matt Drzymala

Well, he is not in it very much. Bits here and there. The stick-fighting is the best scene, b/c you get to see Chris being rough and grunting a lot. You also get to see his lovely muscular arms at the end of the movie where he is wearing just a tank t-shirt. He and Noah are so under-utilized!

There are not as many funny lines, this one is more serious, and I have to say it is better than the last. I was planning on seeing it several times, but have decided to wait until another time. I guess I was hoping Chris would be in this one more. It is just about 2 hours long. The panoramic views are fantastic.

Do go see it, of course, but keep in mind that Chris is just scattered through the movie here and there for only a few minutes or even seconds. When you see him, concentrate on him or you will miss out. If you look at Lara Croft or Bryce in the scene with Chris, you will be missing Chris. It seems the camera concentrates on them, of course, rather than Hillary when it is all of them together.

The stick-fighting scene is his longest scene, if I remember right. It is at the first part of the movie when they show Croft Manor. The camera moves into Croft Manor and you can hear Chris grunting and sticks whacking. Look for it, b/c it is the best thing that Chris does, inmho.

Oh, and Graham McTavish in the credits as the submarine captain, but you couldn't see him very well. Look for him on top of the submarine with Chris and Noah - maybe you can get a glimpse of him better than I could. I had no idea that Graham was in the movie, even for just a second.
