Norman
Lovetts much anticipated website
has been 'Coming
Soon'
since late June but it finally
arrived late August (with Back in
the Red bringing you the news
before any other site). Although
you can't really complain about
the delay as Craig Charles' site
has been supposedly 'Coming
Soon'
since the cavemen walked the
Earth.
After
entering the site we are welcomed
with the great mans head. The
header 'Norman Lovett'
seems too dark to me, though that
could be just my monitor and
there are 8 options - 'Welcome'
- 'Red Dwarf' - 'Goodies'
- 'Biography' - 'Family'
- 'Gigs' and 'Contact',
each with a special picture and
description when you hover on
them.

Norman
welcomes us to his site with a promise of
regular updates whenever possible and
welcomes all comments and suggestions
though don't expect him to reply to all
mails as he has "children
and animals to look after"
Norman
reminisces on the early days of Red Dwarf
and how her persisted in nagging Rob,
Doug and Ed to all the character of Holly
to be seen as the original idea of just a
voice seemed crap to Norm. There are also
some exclusive photos of Norman on the
Harley from Better Than Life and with the
late Ron Pember who played Rimmers taxman
in the same episode.
Norman
mentions the Movie stating: "I don't
know what is happening at the moment but
I will let you know as soon as I know
anything. Honest"
Nuff said!
Theres not
much there at the time of this review
(which I will hopefully update now and
again to corrospond with changes to the
site), though if you've ever fancied a
signed picture of Holly or a Holly mug,
then buy them know using Pay Pal.
Lovett
galore here with many exclusive pictures
of Norman past, present and .. well not
future. We are treated to pictures of
Norm when he was in a football team,
pictures of him with celebrites such as
Jools Holland, Rik Mayall and Daniel
Beddingfield, yes Daniel Beddingfield!
He also
teams up with Ruby Wax whilst wearing
drag, you'll find it hard to decide which
looks most like a woman.
His
daughters also make appearances as does
Gary Wilmot ..... ah, Wilmot heaven,
memories, eh?
Norman
lists all the TV programmes, Movies,
Radio shows etc that he has ever appeared
in including my favourite as Ron Snoad in
Keeping Up Appearances! :D
He also
mentions the Dwarf film is on the
Horizon.
Norman
takes time away from himself to review
his wife Fiona and two daughters Kitty
and Lily. How he met Fiona, about Kittys
path to the comedy world and about Lilys
appearance in Harry Potter and the
Chamber of Secrets.
Exactly
what it says, contact the man :) just
like Rob Llewellyn Norman welcomes
contact from fans. Hopefully people don't
abuse the chance to get in touch. Nice
one Norm!
-----------------
Ok, not the
most indepth review of a site ever but if
you STILL have not yet visited his
site then get there now, its worth it
just for Gary Wilmot.
